We want to thank each and everyone that came to our Homecoming Singing this past weekend (11/13 & 11/14).  What a wonderful time we had.  We heard great singing by Archie Watkins, The Diplomats with Les Beasley, Testimony and the Singing Cooks!  And of course we got to sing too! Thank you all for supporting us at our Homecoming!!!!!

Thank you also for all the prayers!  Tony and I, along with his parents, visited Vanderbilt on November 5th.  Everyone at Vanderbilt was so nice!  We met with the doctor and we went over Tony's history.  The doctor was very straight forward and to the point, but was nice.  We know Prostate Cancer is not curable, but the doctor saying it "face to face" to us just made it more real.  But we also know that God still performs miracles and HE can cure and heal and we are still putting our faith in HIM!!  We were also told that there are not a lot of treatment options out there, so as of right now, Tony is on a waiting list for a new trial drug that should be released in about 2-6 weeks.  When Vanderbilt calls us, we will go there once a week so they can run scans and lab work and once a month we may have to be there overnight due to tests they will do.  We are trusting God thru all this, even though sometimes it gets rough!  We know HE is in control and HE has his arms around us! He is our Healer!!!

As of right now, Tony is only on the Lupron shot, and he got it in October.  He will also still receive the Zometa treatment (bone strengthner) and he is due to get it on December 7.  We will also be meeting with his doctor here on this date so we can discuss what Vanderbilt told us. He is taking some pain medication to help with the pain he has in his hips, ribs and legs.  He is still singing every weekend.  He has not missed a date yet and I know God gives him this strength.  There are times his hips and legs begin to hurt while standing on stage, so he may have to sit and sing but he does not just quit!  Tony is amazing!

On November 12, Tony and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary!  I am so blessed and thankful to have him as my husband.  I love him with all my heart!  He is a good provider and a good father to our children.  I know God brought us together and no matter what storms and trials we face we will face them together and we will put our trust in God to see us thru it all!

Thank you for remembering our family and our group in your prayers!  We love you all!

We hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving!  Spend this time with your family and remember to thank God for all your blessings!  They all come from HIM!
