Sings bass for the group. He was born on October 27 in Columbia, Tennessee. Darrell was raised in Elkton, Tennessee, a small town just north of the Alabama border in middle Tennessee. He was saved at the age of 12 during a youth revival in Athens, Alabama. He and his family attended Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church and later Elkton Baptist Church where Darrell started his musical career with several other young people from the church.
I sing soprano for the group. I was born on May 4, in a year of our Lord, in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA! I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior at the age of 10 and received healing from a speech impairment that I had had since the time I could talk. When God touches you in such a way as He did me you can’t help but sing for His glory and to help others to understand the love He has for them.
I sing lead for our group and also drive the bus 90% of the time as we travel. I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on September 29. I sang in church with my mother and youngest sister, Theresa. I also have an older sister, Connie, and a younger brother, Buddy.
I was born on February 14 in Ft. Payne, AL and I sing alto for our family group. I love the Lord with all my heart! I am so glad He spoke to me when I was a young girl and I accepted Him into my heart. I thank God for my parents who took us to church and taught us to love the Lord and to serve Him with all our hearts.
I sing baritone and lead for the group. I am 24 and I live in Chickamauga, Ga., a town with two red lights. I received Christ as my Savior at nine years old. I’ve always enjoyed singing and had an interest in Southern gospel music. I first began singing with my great friends Brent and Casey at our home church, which was a great influence for me singing. Music has always come naturally to me probably because it’s what our family is about. Before traveling with my family, I sang with a couple for about a year. I like singing in a lot of places where there are many youth. I point my interests into reaching the young people. Getting the message of singing across with positive lyrics in gospel music versus other music. Our style of music can change lives while other music styles can’t. I feed off that. It’s awesome. It's cool to see how different audiences react to our music. I hope to be a great influence to every person I meet and pray God will use me more and more for his work.Email Joey
Hey! I'm a 31 year old guy who is just living my life for Jesus Christ to its fullest. I love my life. I was raised in a great Christian home. All I’ve ever known is church and Southern Gospel Music. My mom and dad, Brenda and Lebron Brandon, have sung for nearly 30 years. My brother, Brent Lee, has been singing most of his life. My dad is a preacher and my mom is the ladies Sunday school teacher at the Rossville Baptist Tabernacle in Rossville, Georgia. This is the church that I grew up in. I traveled with my family, The Brandons, for about 10 years. We had many great times together.
I love to sing, but playing the piano has always been my first love. I’ve been playing the piano for about 23 years now. I’ve never had a lesson in my life. Everything I do is a gift from Jesus Christ and I thank Him for it every day that I live. It all started with a little organ that had buttons on the side that made the chord sounds when you pushed them. I could only play 1 note at a time, but I knew what the full chords sounded like. Then usually, my mom and dad would take me and my brother to church on Sunday afternoons before church would start so we could practice. He played the piano and I played the organ. We were playing a song together and he messed up on it. I went and showed him what chord to go to. After that, I started teaching myself other chords which increased to full songs and I’ve been playing ever since.
I’ve had many musical influences in my life. Gerald Wolfe is my greatest influence. Not only is he my favorite singer, but I have admired his piano playing for many years. Some others that have impacted my life are: Stan Whitmire, Tracy Phillips (former pianist for the Perrys), Sharon and Janet Hayes (Hayes Family), Rosa Nell Speer, Tim Parton (pianist for Legacy Five, who has also never had a lesson) Josh Simpson (Gold City) and of course the late Anthony Burger and Roger Bennett.
I also have had the great opportunity to travel professionally with a trio from out of Arab, Alabama called Appointed. I sang lead and played the piano for them from 2001-2003. We had a few songs on the charts and had 2 top 40 hits. The song most people remember us by is "Beautiful Days", written by Tommy Swindle. Back in 2002, we were asked to be part of the annual Gospel Music Convention in Fraserburgh, Scotland. That was an amazing experience. We also were asked to perform live in front of 15,000 people on the main stage of the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. That was the most incredible experience. It was a total dream come true.
I've been off the road for 4 years now and I’m so excited to be back on the road travelling. I can’t wait to make new friends and see new places. There’s no one else I would want to play the piano for than The Greesons. I’ve known them all my life. They not only live what they sing but they sing what they live. I'm excited to see what Christ has in store not only for me, but for The Greesons as well.
