Heard you guys for the first time last night. I brought my 4 grandchildren ages 10, 10, 8, 7. They picked out the seats in the front row. Usually they are very easily bored, but sat through the entire concert and particpated with hand clapping, etc. I very much loved your style and the strength of your voices. couldn't help but cry for joy.........Linda

Hey The Greesons!! I just wanted to leave a note here on the Guestbook.... I'm from Bloomington,IL but me and my family go to Samburg,TN twice a year...Once in the Spring and once for Homecoming....We came down there last year in Sept. for the Homecoming and you guys were there, Loved you guys!! Were gonna be coming back down in Sept. for the Homecoming and me and my family are sooo excited to hear that you guys are gonna be there....Can't Wait!!!
I just ran into some "bad luck"! I just set here and typed a half an hour to get an error message that said something to the effect that i had written too much!!! I'll try it again! I am 45 years old and my wife (Cyndi) and I have been married 21 years. We have a son (Sean) who just turned 9. I wanted to express just how much you guys have touched me, so here's my story (again!) I have been collecting music since i was about 9 years old (my first record was "American Pie" by Don McLean! (It was one of those "long" songs that you had to "flip-over" to hear part 2!) Well, since way back then (1972), I have collected over 5,000 45 r.p.m. records, a few hundred albums and probably close to 1,000 cd's. (Now we found it necessary to have a dj booth in our house!) I say this not to brag but to give you an idea of just how big of a music fan I am and the influence that you have made on me! In efforts to get my story "shrunk down" enough to fit this page, I'll just say that the last two mornings around 6 am i have heard this AWESOME song on WEMM radio station (out of Huntington, WV). This morning i called the dj when he came in (at 6:30) to find out who preformed this FABULOUS song and was told that it's name was "There's Still My Joy" and i found out that it was you guys who preformed it! I immediately found your website and ordered the cd. Now here's the part that I wanted you to know-I AM NOT a big fan of southern gospel music! In the past 10 to 15 years of hearing that format on WEMM radio, this will make only the 3rd time I have heard anything that i felt was so GREAT that I HAD TO HAVE IT!!! I am not a big fan of "organized religion" either, but I do love the Lord and prasie Him on a daily basis. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me so much! It is so unlike me to go on and on about anything, like I have here! When I read the lady's story about her speech troubles as a child and then listen to such wonderful singing, it's absolutely "spine-tingling"!!! I could write a LOT more, but I don't want to risk "losing it" again! I'll end with this: I want to thank God for helping me find you, and I want to thank YOU for such an inspiring song, that has helped me get just a little closer to GOD! I look forward in anticipation to following the future career of "THE GREESONS!" GOD BLESS!
Just got my "Restless" Cd-Every song is very,very good! Also received a personal mailing from Lisa-I was very impressed with the "personal touch" the Greesons give to their fans and there is no doubt in my mind that The Greeson's are some of the finest folks anyone could hope to meet. Their songs make it obvious their personal convictions they each have towards serving our Lord. Anyone interested in a great disc of southern gospel music at it's very best, please don't hesitate to order this disc. Ever since i've had several of my family and friends listen to this cd, they've called our local gospel music radio station (WEMM) to request "There's Still My Joy" and I'm not kidding you, the last five times i turned into the station, within 15 minutes, the song aired!!! TWICE i tuned in to hear the song playing at that very minute!!!!! I guess a lot of folks know a good thing when they hear it! God Bless You! Much success in the future! (Your newest fan, Mike)

Just a few lines to say how much i appreciate The Gressons for doing three songs i wrote including your new single
"Sinner's Prayer". It was wonderful to hear of those coming forward for salvation while your group sings Sinner's Prayer". God know's that was the purpose i wrote the song. I had been an Evangelist for several years. Then took a church to Pastor in Pineville, KY. It was there that God burdened my heart to REACH more people with the GOSPEL (but i was still pastoring in "THE HILLS OF KENTUCKY) how could i reach out while in one place. That's were the inspiration came from. I began to try to think of WORDS that would BRING HOPE TO THOSE AT THE BOTTOM OF LIFE AND IN THE SAME SONG SHOW THEM A WAY TO GET UP OUT OF THE MIRY CLAY OF SIN. That's when i thought of the sinner's prayer. Then for the next five weeks everyday except Sunday i would go into the Santuary of the church i was Pastoring (We were living in the church Sunday schools rooms because it was a very small church and it was struggling to survive the first few months i was there. But by the second year the church was running at least 70 peaople TO GOD BE THE GLORY)and literally spend five to eight hours a day and some times all night writing this one song "Sinner's Prayer". When it was done i called Mark Bishop and ask for someone to send the song to for a GOOD demo. He recommended Adam Kohout. Which ended up a few weeks later a AWESOME DEMO (ADAM IS THE BEST!!!!) Then i got busy sending this song out to ALL the groups and one day i recieved this e-mail from the Gressons and i was THRILLED AND HONORED that they would even consider doing my song especially me being a UNKNOWN song writer. But i felt it was a GOD THING!!! (That would be a good song title). Now the song is being played all across America on radio. Thank you very much Gressons for taking a chance on an unknown songwriter an LISTENING TO THE WORDS OF "SINNER'S PRAYER". I PRAY GOD WILL USE THIS SONG HAS THE GRESSONS SING NIGHT AFTER NIGHT ACROSS AMERICA TO "REACH THE lOST WITH HOPE" that there is hope at the bottom.
p.s. to all the fans that read this you know if you've heard the song that is the gospel set to music (good news)so please call your local radio station often to reguest the song. Only eternity will tell how many gets saved by hearing this song on the radio. Daryl, my prayer is for testimonys of salvation!!!!
