I hope everyone had a very Blessed Easter! The church that my family attends had an Easter Sonrise Service. It was a cool morning but seeing the sun rise was so tranquil and beautiful. I am so thrilled to know that one day the Lord is going to come back to get us so we can live in Heaven forever. To be in the most tranquil and beautiful place that our imagination cannot even picture!
We have been in the studio recording the music for our up and coming project on the 4 Square Label. We have listened to a lot of songs! We want to thank all the people that have sent us their songs! What an awesome talent you all have! We are recording a new song that Karen wrote. It talks about going home! She does an awesome job writing, too!
I want to thank all of you that have called your local radio stations and requested our latest single, “Other Side Of Jordan”. I thank God everyday for allowing us to record this song! We received news that this song has reached #56 on the June issue of the Singing News Charts! We are so thankful and we appreciate the radio stations playing this song. We are so humbled that people are requesting this song and that it is touching so many people! The reason we travel and sing like we do is to see people uplifted and the lost become saved! It is awesome to be on a national chart list like The Singing News Magazine but that is not the reason we go and do what we do. We thank God everyday that our songs are getting the airplay and that people are being touched! We are the instruments that God uses for His work! We give our Lord and Savior ALL the praise and glory! Again, thank you Singing News Magazine and all the radio stations for playing our song.
I started this column so I could tell others what was going on with the group and information that I thought people would enjoy reading. I have really enjoyed writing things about our family and to share them with you! I want to say I love each and every one of you! For the ones that e-mail us from time to time, I want to say Thank You! You don’t know what these e-mails mean to us! We love reading them and getting to know each and every one of you! Please continue to pray for us as we travel around every weekend in our “home on wheels”. If anyone has ever owned a bus you know how they can be. You never know what is going to happen from singing to singing! We had a little trouble with it a couple of weekends ago but we got it going! Some men stopped to help us and they got it so we could continue on to our next singing! I want to say a special thank you to all the ones that help gospel singers and their buses! You are our angels!
