Wow! Can you believe how fast January and February went by!? It seems like it passed so quickly! We have seen some cold weather and even had a little snow! And now we are starting to see some warm weather and the trees and flowers are already blooming. Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s when a new birth comes over the earth! Everything is new again. When you think about it that is how it is when God comes into your heart! When He comes in he takes away the old heart and feelings and replaces it with a new heart and you don’t ever feel the same again! He makes you want to sing like a new baby bird and he wants you to bloom in His glory!

We have started getting busy again. We are going to some new places this year! We will be traveling to Texan and Louisiana in March! Please pray for us as we travel! Sometimes these long trips can be exhausting but then they are exhilarating too! To see people get blessed or saved is worth every mile we travel!

If you don’t have your copy of our newest CD “Restless” you better run out and get it! Or order it from our website! We can’t believe all the good news we have been hearing from this CD. We give God all the Glory! With Him all things are possible! We thank Him for opening the doors that we have seen open!

We celebrated some birthdays in February. My birthday was February 14. I am a Valentine baby! We celebrated it with a dinner and a cookie cake! It was chocolate chip. Of course! Emily turned 8 on February 27! I can’t believe she is already 8 years old! They grow up so fast! She still loves to sing! She sings all the time!

I have a bible verse on my desk at work that I read everyday! It was attached to an email that I received. It is Psalm 59:16-17 NLT – But as for me I will sing about your power. I will shout with joy each morning because of your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety in the day of distress. O My strength to you I sing praises, for you, O God are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love!

I love this verse! No matter what comes our way we need to try and remember that HE is our refuge! We should lift our voices and sing praises to HIM! I was reading a book the other day and there was a phrase in it that has stuck with me. It said you have to think of your life as a car and that God is the driver and we are the passengers. No matter what turns, hills or gullies we may go thru God is the driver. He is in control. We are only the passenger and we have to trust HIM to get us Home! No matter what twists and turns our life may take HE will get us thru this life until we can one day go to live with Him!

I hope you all have a great Easter! And don’t forget what Easter is really about! We love you all and we thank you all for all the prayers and the support you always give!

Until next time…..

In Christ’s Love,
Lisa
