Lisa's Information Station – September 2007

Well, hopefully the hottest part of summer is going to be behind us soon. August was hot! The kids started school first of August and they were so happy to be back! That lasted for about a week! Jacob and Christian started middle school this year. It's hard to believe our little boys are in middle school. Emily started the 3rd grade. That is hard to believe too! Kids grow up faster than they used to... I guess that is a normal feeling when the children belong to you! It seems like just yesterday they were still in diapers!!! They will love me for that one!

We have completed a new project! The name of our latest CD is Call Home and it will be released this month! You will be able to purchase this new project on our website so please keep an eye out for it. We are so thrilled about the songs we chose for this new recording. Every song has a meaning! When we were in the recording studio we had to stop several times because God was in the place! I thank God for allowing us to feel His spirit wherever we are! I hope everyone that hears these songs gets a blessing because we sure received one while making it!

Our latest single "When I Get There" has been playing all over the radio waves and getting good reviews! We give God all the Glory!
This song is so true. When we get to Heaven we won't have to wonder anymore. We will see it all!!!! Thanks to everyone who has called your radio stations to have them play it!

We will be at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY on September 10-14, 2007. If you have never been you need to try and make plans to go!

In this issue I also wanted to say a special thank you to our home churches. Tony and I go to Christian Home Baptist Church in Chickamauga, GA. Darrell and Karen go to the Rossville Baptist Tabernacle in Rossville, GA. We don't get to be there a lot due to the traveling we do but I know our churches are praying for us. I want to say a special thank you for all your prayers, support and love! We miss getting to be there and joining in on the "little" things that happen. We miss out on a lot! But when we do get to go to our church they are always there with open arms to welcome us back!

That is what families do when a family member comes home. We love our church family and we thank God that we have a church that is so full of love and they are there for one another! We love you all!

We are excited to share some special news but we also have a special prayer request. We would like to ask you as an individual to say a prayer for us and also ask God about considering helping us at this time. We are now a 501-C Non-Profit Ministry. Any donations made to The Greeson's Gospel Music Ministry are tax deductible.

As our ministry has largely expanded and as our children have grown so has our needs for improved transportation. With nine people traveling 95% of the time, we have been looking for and asking God to meet our needs with a newer and large enough bus to accommodate our ministry. It is hard for nine people to sleep in four bunks and two couches. Emily and I have to share a bunk together, while two other share a couch. Being that our ministry has expanded we are spending numerous days and nights in the shared quarters. Also, with the price of hotels we have to use truck stops to shower in. WELL, GOD HAS BLESSED!! He has provided a bank that will finance the majority of our answer to prayer and we have committed to them and they have to us. The newer model bus that God is supplying has nine bunks and a shower. But we have a problem. We need a down payment to help make the monthly payments affordable. We would like to ask you to please pray and ask God about sharing in our ministry because we know that God has His hand on us and we want you to be a part in helping lives to be changed. You may contact us by email, thegreesons@hotmail.com Or you can contact Tony at 423-242-8459 or Darrell at 423-619-0564. You may also write us at The Greesons, 350 Diamond Dr, Chickamauga GA 30707. We do accept credit cards if you prefer this method.

Thanks to all for your prayers and support! We love you all!
Until next time...

In Christ's Love,
Lisa
